Budget & Beyond is a student-led public policy awareness platform focused on explaining how government budgets and economic policies affect everyday citizens, especially lower-income communities.
The platform breaks down budgets, welfare schemes, subsidies, and policy announcements into simple, practical information. Its aim is to help people understand eligibility, benefits, and application processes, and to show how fiscal decisions translate into real outcomes such as income support, employment, healthcare, housing, and education access.
Beyond budget summaries, the initiative looks at the broader economic impact of policies on workers and families, bridging the gap between policy design and ground-level understanding.
